Quality parts,
timeless and sustainable
Kekai Studio is a Portuguese brand that combines contemporary design, handcrafted production, and a strong commitment to sustainability.
Born in the world of bath products, the brand has now evolved into a broader concept, exploring new product categories and expanding its creative expression.
Each piece is developed with attention to detail, respect for processes, and appreciation for national know-how.
With handcrafted production in Portugal, Kekai Studio focuses on a conscious approach, prioritizing quality, durability, and a timeless aesthetic. More than just clothing, Kekai Studio represents a way of being light, authentic, and connected to one's natural essence.
We create with intention and ethics.
All of our pieces are produced locally in Portugal by experienced hands that treat swimwear as an art, not as an automated process.
We produce in small quantities, focusing on quality, attention to detail, and the intention behind each piece.
We work with small factories and teams we know by name, who share our values and respect the natural pace of manual creation.
We believe in the value of time, close relationships, and expertise. Creating by hand is more than a technique; it's a conscious choice, and for us, that choice makes all the difference.
Less waste, more awareness.
At Kekai Studio, sustainability isn't a separate section. It's the starting point. A silent principle that guides everything we do, from design to production, from fabric choices to the quantities we produce.
We believe that contemporary luxury is conscious, responsible, and made to last more than one season. We focus on limited collections and reduced quantities to avoid excess, guarantee exclusivity, and minimize environmental impact.
We use ECONYL® — a premium regenerated nylon made from waste that would otherwise be landfill (such as fishing nets or industrial plastics) and transformed into a high-performance fabric with a luxurious feel.
And because sustainability is also about knowing how to use what already exists, we reuse materials from previous collections whenever possible. Giving new life to what has already been created is, for us, as important as innovating.
